Melissa: “I just want to thank Tunnel Garden for helping us become more self-reliant and grow sustainable food for our family. My children love picking vegetables out of the garden and eating them. I couldn’t believe how fast and easy it was to put up the greenhouse cover giving us a longer “growing season”. We’re so excited to get to eat our home-grown, fresh and organic greens all through the winter. Thanks for your help!”

Jason: "We put up our first tunnel garden in December of last year. We were so excited to see things coming up in January. Within a few months we were harvesting lettuce and spinach and our peas and carrots were well on their way. We liked it so much that we purchased 3 more tunnels to get an early start on our summer crops. In the fall, we’ll replant under all four tunnels and enjoy eating from them all winter long. We have neither the space nor the money for a large heated greenhouse but these tunnel gardens were the perfect fit for both our garden and our budget."

Kathleen: "For many years I have been interested in preparedness and nutrition. I like to drink a green smoothie and have a large green salad each day. I have been concerned about how I could have live greens as a part of my food storage plan.
In the early spring I saw tunnel gardens. They had live greens and had been growing them all winter. I was intrigued. I was in the process of buying the house we had been renting and wanted to plant a garden. We had a big space of our yard that had never been landscaped and was full of weeds. It was a good garden space, but the soil would need a lot of amending to be able to grow anything. I decided to put in tunnel gardens. I was able to top dress the soil and to get my plants started early inside the tunnels. In the nutrient dense soil, and under the warm tunnels, things grew quickly and well. I have lettuce, spinach, beets, cilantro, tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, strawberries and herbs growing. For the past six weeks, I have gone out to my garden each morning and harvested greens for my green smoothie and lettuce for a big salad each day.
I am looking forward to harvesting my tomatoes and peppers, squash and strawberries. When the summer harvest is over, I will replant the tunnels with my winter greens and will be able to have fresh greens all winter."
